// services

Engineering services for the full wireless stack.

Four core capabilities, delivered by engineers who've shipped real systems from defense radios to commercial 5G infrastructure.

01

ERCES Design, Commissioning & Test

TWS has the tools and knowledge to conduct NFPA-compliant Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement System (ERCES) design, commissioning, and performance testing. We use internally developed tools to analyze and design ERCES uplink and downlink RF cascades. We conduct lab testing in our RF lab in Fort Mill, South Carolina, validate cables and antennas using Bird Site Hawk, commission with mobile and handheld signal generators and spectrum analyzers, and test using PCTEL hardware and software.

  • NFPA 1225 / 72 compliance
  • Donor site signal surveys
  • Uplink/downlink cascade analysis
  • BDA selection & isolation analysis
  • 95/99 grid testing & reporting

Lab Analysis & Prototyping

TWS offers wireless system prototyping and proof-of-concept services. It's one thing to have confidence that an idea should work in theory — the prudent project owner is hesitant to go forward unless a concept is shown to be practically achievable. Prototyping can take the form of modeling and simulation, data analysis, lab test, or a combination. Our lab is built and outfitted specifically around the design and commissioning of RF products and systems.

  • RF circuit modeling (ADS, AWR)
  • Antenna pattern verification
  • Receiver sensitivity & blocking
  • Waveform & protocol analysis
  • Hardware-in-the-loop testbeds

System Design

Proper system-level design is the cornerstone of any successful project — and is often given insufficient attention. We translate business and operational requirements into verifiable technical specifications, partitioned architectures, and clear interface control. A good system design isn't just a technical description; it's a project design.

  • Requirements decomposition
  • Architecture trade studies
  • Verification planning (V-model)
  • Interface control documents
  • Risk-driven prototyping plans

Project Engineering

A team can only be successful with proper direction. The leader must be the technical expert across the entire project, must reevaluate as the landscape changes, and must articulate technical status clearly to business management. TWS project engineers are focused on these core competencies and execute under the principle of servant leadership.

  • Technical program leadership
  • Vendor & subcontractor management
  • Cost / schedule / risk reporting
  • Customer-facing technical reviews
  • Acceptance & handoff
